William Sadorus

William L. Sadorus (Bill) born in Champaign County, IL on October 22, 1959 went to be with the Lord
on January 28, 2025 at the age of 65. Bill grew up in Sadorus, IL and had a vibrant life and worked
at many jobs from working on the railroad to a machinist at DART. He loved his friends, his
motorcycle, anything space-related, rock and roll (especially Black Sabbath and the Texas Hippie
Coalition), concerts, traveling and being in the role of Grandpa to Andrew and Keira Stone. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd A. Sadorus and Ethel P. Hillard Sadorus, and his friends,
Wayne Hardy and Mitch Davison. Survivors include his girlfriend, Carolyn Trauthwein and other
family members and friends.
There will be a celebration of life to be held at El Toro at the Fields restaurant – 3401 Fields S Dr.,
Champaign, IL 61822 on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 2-4pm.
