William M. Lannon, 65, of Sidney passed away at 4:45AM, Monday, July 8, 2024 at home.

Funeral mass will be 11:00AM, Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bongard with Rev. Keith Walder officiating.  Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bongard.  Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM at the church and the rosary will be at 8:30 AM. 

Bill Lannon was born October 2, 1958 in Urbana, a son to Maurice and JoAnn Kleiss Lannon.  He is survived by his three children; Jessica (Cody) Leemon of Fairland, OK, Mich Lannon of Sidney and Christine Lannon of Houston, TX, a grandchild; Hayes Leemon, a brother, John (Shari) Lannon of Sidney, and five sisters; Trish Patrick of Tolono, Sharon (Kevin) Mackinson, of Pontiac, Julie Vanagaitis of Monticello, Terri (Tim) Stigers of Sidney, and Jeanne (Phil) Daly of Sidney.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  He graduated from ABL High School, Broadlands.  He was a man of unwavering dedication, known for his strong work ethic as a farmer in the Sidney area and deep love for his family and the land. Bill’s greatest joys came from helping those around him, and his legacy as a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend will forever be cherished by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Cemetery, Bongard.
