Steve Woodworth

Steve Woodworth 66, of Homer passed away at 1:55 P.M. Tuesday July 1, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

 Steve was born February 8, 1959 in Urbana. The son of Fran and Theresa (Eckstein) Woodworth. He married Brenda Shelby on April 18, 1988 in Wisconsin. She survives.

 He is also survived by his son Ramey Williams of St. Joseph. Two grandchildren Noah Williams of Fisher, and Levi Williams of Champaign. Sisters Cheryl (Dick) Cain of Savoy, Celia (Dave) Shanahan of South Dakota and Amy Richardson of Tolono. Father-in-law Elba Shelby of Sidney. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 He was preceded in death by his parents.

 Steve was a truck driver for Woodworth Trucking and Illinois Brick. He loved to go camping and motocross.

 A Celebration of Steve's life will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.Friday July 11, 2025 at Freese Funeral Home 202 W. Main St. Sidney.
