Stephanie D Mumm

Stephanie D. Mumm, 80, of Philo passed away at 1:22 PM, Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Graveside services will be 12:30 PM Monday, April 21, 2025 at Locust Grove Cemetery, Philo.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to noon on Monday at Freese Funeral Home, Sidney.

Mrs. Mumm was born November 17, 1944 in Salem, IL, a daughter to John and Vera Mackie Brown.  She married Ronald Mumm on April 11, 1964 in Philo, he preceded her in death on January 24, 2007.

She is survived by a son; R. Lyndon Mumm, two daughters; Julie Horan and Rhonda (Gene) Bleecher all of Philo, two grandchildren; Emma and Nathan Bleecher of Philo, a sister; Jennifer Pichon of San Jose, CA and a brother; Stephen (Jan) Brown of The Villages, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Stephanie enjoyed quilting, making many to be donated, especially to Project Linus.  She was very active in St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Urbana, where she was a member.  She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play in Unity Athletics. 

She was employed at Philo Exchange Bank.
