Sandra J. Christman, 76 of Tolono passed away surrounded by her family at 2:24 AM, Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Freese Funeral Home, Tolono with a visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Craw Cemetery, Sadorus. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Christman was born November 12, 1946 in Champaign, a daughter to Andrew and Bernadine Guthery McCulley. She married Daniel Christman on December 1, 1963 in Sadorus, he survives.
Also surviving are three children; Dena (Patrick) Dubson of Tolono, Brian Christman of Urbana, and Darin (Sarah) Christman of Monticello, nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Gary and two brothers; Gale McCulley and George McCulley.
She enjoyed being with her family, fishing, camping, bowling, animals, and music. She was a member of the Champaign Sportsman’s Club, Sadorus Sportsman’s Club, and Lake Holiday Hideaway Home Owners Association in Indiana. She was employed at JCPenney’s.
