Rozella Stewart, 84, of Sadorus passed away Tuesday April 21, 2026. Rozella was born December 7, 1941, in Stringtown, IL to Bernard and Elizabeth Wilhelm Hahn. She graduated from Unity High School in 1959 and attended college at the University of Illinois and later at Parkland College.
She married C. M. “Junior” Stewart in 1961. He survives.
Also surviving are her 4 children: Joan (Al) Clark, Lori (Bernie) Magsamen, Terri (Mike) Haines and Mark (Lauri) Stewart. Grandchildren: Kaitlin (Clint) Tharp, Megan Magsamen (Cole Scanlon), Jessica Haines (Haroun Elayed), Courtney (Nathan) Caudill, and Cory Stewart (Thaylee Barry). Great-grandchildren: Braxton, Eli, Paisley and Dutton Tharp, Brantley and Weston Caudill. Siblings: Pat Westcott, Louise Taylor, Bill Hahn and Joe Hahn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Walter Hahn.
Rozella’s greatest joy was her family. She loved going to their sporting events, mainly softball, baseball and music events.
Rozella was a Girl Scout leader and a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Ivesdale.
Rozella worked at Carle Pharmacy, Pesotum Mutual Insurance Company and the National Council of Teachers of English, retiring in 2000.
Private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude.
