Graduated Unity High School 1955

Married Betty McCormick 9-1-1957, she survives.

Served with the Army National Guard from 1961-1967.

Daughter: Debbie (Lane) Compton, Brocton, IL 
Son: David (Becky) Trowbridge, Mansfield IL

Grandchildren: Josh McNary. Jordan Compton (soon to be the Mother of a 

great grandson in August 2024), and Alyson Trowbridge.

Robert passed away at the home of his daughter and family.

If you had the blessed opportunity to ever meet Bob you know he was a happy go lucky man, who loved his wife and family, was a proud farmer and loved his community and those surrounding him.  He would lend a hand any time it was needed.

A private graveside service has been scheduled.

A celebration of life will be held at the Sidney Community Building downtown Sidney, Sunday July 14th from 3-5pm.

Memorials can be made to The First Baptist Church of Tolono or Carle Hospice Care.
