Patricia "Patty" Rew 73, of St. Joseph passed away at 10:54 P.M. Friday October 12, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
A Celebration of Patty's Life will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. Wednesday October 22, 2025 at Freese Funeral Home 302 E. Grand Ave. St. Joseph.
Patty was born September 19, 1952 in Chicago, IL. The daughter of Walter and Katie (Meehan) Waltz. She married Jim Rew in 1974 in Chicago. He survives.
She is also survived by her children; Amy Wood of Jupiter, Fl Matthew Rew of Homer, Michelle Rew of Palm Beach Garden, FL. Two grandchildren Ava and Ashton Wood. One brother Walter Waltz II. Two sisters Kathy Raffel and Marian Jaros.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She worked at Champaign-Danville Overhead Doors in Ogden. She retired 2022.
Patty was a people person and always felt people needed friends.
