Patricia “Patty” Black Richardson, 67 of Sadorus, passed away at 3:47 PM, Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. 

A visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Freese Funeral Home, Tolono with graveside services to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Ivesdale.

Patty was born July 24, 1955 in Urbana, a daughter to Ralph and Edith Engles Black Jr.  Surviving are four children; Aaron (Tiffany) Richardson of Tolono, Sara (Darren) Poorman of Pesotum, Katie Richardson of Sadorus, and Adam (Cristina) Richardson of Tolono, seven grandchildren; Karson, Kelsie, Aliza, Sylvie, Moxie, Lincoln and Rhett, and nine siblings; Linda (Dennis) Henry of Pesotum, Barb (Ron) Gramley of Rantoul, Donna (Bob) Musson of Dewey, Rick (Tari) Black of Sadorus, Debbie Ridinger of Rantoul, Tim (Becky) Black of Pesotum, Janet (Liz Osborn) Black of Champaign, Mary Jo Black of Urbana, and Jeannie (Brian) Henson of Sadorus. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Cathy Burton and a brother, Jim Black.

She graduated from Unity High School in 1973.  She was a longtime employee of Eastside Lumber Yard Supply Company.  She enjoyed spending time her family.
