Patricia Ann Like

Patricia Ann Like, 84, of Pesotum, Illinois, passed away on March 14, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be on March 18, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm, with rosary service at 4:30 pm, at Freese Funeral Home, 407 N. Bourne St., Tolono, Il. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on March 19, 2025 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 212 E. Washington St., Tolono, IL with burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery. 

Patricia was born on February 26, 1941 in Edgewood, IL, the daughter of John B. and Ella M. (Prather) Weber.

After a short battle with cancer, Patricia has joined her youngest son, Brian, her parents, seven brothers, and one sister in the arms of the Lord. She leaves behind her loving husband of 66 years, James Like, who she married on January 24, 1959. Also surviving are her children: Cherie (George) Flowers of Whitehouse, TX; Thomas Like of Urbana, IL; Clifford Like of Pesotum, IL, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed making quilts by hand, going to garage sales, estate sales, and auctions; playing Bingo every week; planting flowers around her house every spring, weeding all summer; and was a long-standing member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tolono, IL. She retired from the University of Illinois, having worked in the financial aid office for many years.
