Noel Roberts

Noel Roberts 66 of Homer passed away at 6:43 PM, Tuesday March 28, 2023 at home.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Freese Funeral Home, Sidney with Pastor John Sharp officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.  A private family burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park, Terre Haute, IN.

Mr. Roberts was born August 18, 1956 at Terre Haute, IN, a son to James and Dorothy Hensley Roberts.  He married Christian Barrington on February 12, 1994, she survives.  Also surviving are five children; Andrew (Sarah) Roberts of Middleville, MI, Alex Roberts of Warrenville, IL, Adam (Gabriella) Roberts of Tampa, FL, A.J. Roberts of Middleville, MI, and Quincy Roberts of Homer, two siblings; Christopher Roberts of DeSoto, MO, and Shelia (Jerry) Marshall of Ste. Genevieve, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Roberts was employed as a deputy sheriff in St. Louis, MO for 18 years.  He was devoted to the Boy Scouts of America having many leadership roles.  He was a member of multiple aquarium fish societies.  Including Missouri Aquarium Society and Federation of American Aquarium Societies where he held leadership roles.

He loved to travel and was an avid collector.  He also loved going to sporting events with his children.  He also coached his children in wrestling, baseball and football.
