Michael Foley Sr.

Michael Ray Foley Sr. passed away at home on February 19, 2025.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his children Tim of Champaign, Michelle of Champaign, (Husband Rob), Mike of Pearland, TX (Wife Connie), and Chris of Las Vegas (husband Gary).  He is also survived by his brother Robin of Lubbock, TX, Niece, Marsha of Festus, Mo, seven grandchildren; Abbie, Alex, Derek, Hayden, Jace, Jessica, and Megan (husband Ryan) and nine great-grandchildren; Danielle, Easton, Eli, Everett, Jackson, Jason, Lilliana, Moses and Noah.

He is best known for his involvement with The Ambucs and Bass Club and always ready to give a helping hand to whoever needed it.

He was also a great woodworker and has made several wood pieces throughout his lifetime.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Freese Funeral Home from 10:30 to noon with memorial service to follow.  Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana, following the services.

In lieu of flowers, you may give a memorial to the The Ambucs, Hospice or Diabetes Association.
