Mark Easton

Mark Easton, 62 of Tolono passed away at 11:50 AM, Sunday, March 23, 2025 at home.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to noon on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Freese Funeral Home, Tolono.

Mark was born July 25, 1962 in Champaign, a son to Jerry R. and Lillian Burcham Easton.  He is survived by his father; Jerry (Ginny) Easton of Savoy, a brother; Bret (Cathy) Olendorf of Decatur, a sister; Kimberley (Roger) Easton-Kleiss of Tolono, nephews; Alex ang Evan, many cousins, and extended family and most of all his beloved dog; Shania.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and a brother Bart Easton.

Mark graduated from Unity High School in 1981 and went on to serve in the United States Navy from 1982-1986 as an aviation electrician. 

He retired from the University of Illinois after over 27 years in building services.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, auto racing, cooking, his indoor plants, model airplanes and looking at the stars through his telescope.

A special thank you goes out to his neighbors Jeff and Jeanette Lemon and Michelle Morgan.  Mark’s family is forever grateful for the support they showed.
