Gregory "Mark" Mark Bays

Gregory “Mark” Bays, 64, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born May 21, 1960 in Danville, IL to William Harvey and Muriel (Pearson) Bays. Mark married Lori Davis on May 7, 1981 in Danville, IL.

Mark is survived by his wife Lori Bays of Tolono, IL and his children Jamie (Chad) Gross of Mishawaka, IN and Jessie (William) Mitsdarfer of Tolono, IL; one grandson, Everett Mitsdarfer; brother Gary (Norma) Bays of Tilton, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings William Gale, Dick, Carl, and Jean Brockwell.

Mark worked in the window and door industry for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, tinkering in his garage, and was an avid Cardinals and Illini fan.
