Frances Alberta (Smith) Wells

 Frances Alberta Wells 95, of St. Joseph passed away at 6:38 A.M. Friday March 7, 2025 at Country Health Care and Rehab, Gifford.

 Frances was born September 6, 1929 in Pesotum. The daughter of Otto and Lillian (Allison) Smith. She married Virgil Wells on March 16, 1946. He preceded her on September 6, 2004.

 She is survived by her children; Jerry Wells of St. Joseph, Allen (Patricia) Wells of St. Joseph, Judith (Joe) Hester of Windsor, Kathy (Harold)  Bush of St. Joseph, Kenneth (Dianna) Wells of Mansfield, Deborah Wells of Gifford. Daughter in law Monica Wells of St. Joseph. 18 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great- grandchildren. Brother Boyd Smith. Sisters June, Joyce, Linda.

 She was preceded by her parents, son Gregory Wells, 4 sisters Evelyn, Juanita, Betty, Donna and one brother, Larry Smith.

 Frances was a member of the Church of Christ St. Joseph.

 In lieu of flowers, people can make donations to Country Health Care and Rehab, Gifford. 

 Funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday March 11, 2025 at Freese Funeral Home 302 E. Grand Ave. St. Joseph. Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
