Christopher W. Munds, 34 of Pesotum, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Graveside services will be 10AM, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Bailey Memorial Cemetery, Tolono with Rev. Jason Epperson officiating.

Chris was born August 18, 1991 in Urbana a son to David and Janice L Pittman Munds.

He is survived by his parents, two daughters; Layla and Charli Munds, a brother; Donnie (Jackie) Munds of Tolono, grandfather; Donald Munds of Champaign, an aunt; Lisa (Matt) Gregory of Mahomet and an uncle Mark (Mandy) Munds of St. Joseph.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Orville and Georgia Pittman and grandmother; Peggy Munds.

Chris graduated from Unity High School in 2009, and was a union carpenter and welder.

He was an amazing self-taught guitarist, loved gardening, his tattoos, and his dog; Ellie.  His daughters were his whole world.
