Chris McCarty

Chris McCarty, 56, of Sadorus passed away 8:40 AM, Sunday, December 14, 2025 at home.

Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

Chris was born January 2, 1969 in Champaign, a son to Vickie Goodling, she preceded him in death.

He married Gidget Gardner on July 16, 2011, she survives.  Also surviving are two brothers; Steve (Sally) Shipley of Champaign and Chuck (Sami) Mandrell of Decatur and many nieces, nephew, aunts and uncles.

He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and his dog, Max.
