Cherie Lynn Flowers

Cherie Lynn Flowers, of Whitehouse, TX, formally of Tolono, IL, passed away at 11:55 AM, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler, TX.

Texas visitation will be at Stewart Family Funeral Home on Mon Dec 15th from 5-7pm. Prayer to be at 5pm.

Illinois services will have the Rosary at Freese Funeral Home at 4:30PM, Friday, December 19, with visitation to follow from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 20, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 212 E. Washington St., Tolono, IL with burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Tolono.

Cherie was born December 19, 1959 in Urbana, the daughter of James and Patricia (Weber) Like. Survivors include father James Like, husband George, a son, Christopher Wilson, daughter-in-law Carrie of Pesotum, IL and a daughter, Stefanie Anderson (Wilson) son-in-law Nick of Oakwood; granddaughters Claire Wilson & Elizabeth Anderson; brothers Cliff and Tom Like of Pesotum. Also surviving are son-in-laws Eddie & Bill Flowers and daughter-in-law Margo Kelly; grandkid-in-laws Dalton, Ariel, Adam, Nick & Fred.

Cherie graduated from Unity High School (Tolono). She loved going on trips with family to see new places. She was the treasurer for her HOA for some time. She loved helping with the local American Legion post 71.
