Charlotte S. McKitrick

  Charlotte Sue McKitrick 77, of Urbana went home to be with Jesus at 12:08 P.M. Saturday December 24, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

 Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday December 28, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church 2106 E. Windsor Rd., Urbana. Pastor Gary Gritton will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sidney. Visitation will be from 12;00 P.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the church Wednesday.

 Freese Funeral Home 302 E. Grand Ave. St. Joseph is in charge of arrangements.

 Charlotte was born August 3, 1945 in Champaign. The daughter of Rufus and Meridith (Weaver) DeVore. She married Tom McKitrick in 1968 in Sidney. He survives.



 She is also survived by her son Phillip (Jennifer) McKitrick of Fairmount. Grandson Jesse Ray McKitrick. Six cousins; Sandy (Bill) Campbell, Andy (Nancy) Ennis, Danny (Alice) Ennis, Donald  Ennis and family, Carolyn (Duane) Blaney, Larry (Anna) Kammin, Johnny (Pam) Kammin.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ron DeVore, Uncle Doyle Weaver.

 Charlotte was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Urbana. She sang in the choir and played her Auto Harp at church.

 She was a wonderful wife and mother. She enjoyed working with the AWANA children, talking with family and friends.

 Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
