Celia Shanahan

Celia (Woodworth) Shanahan, 69 formerly of Tolono and Ramona, California, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at home.

She was born May 2, 1956 in Urbana to Francis and Theresa Woodworth.  She is survived by her caring husband of 37 years, Dave Shanahan, daughter Kristy Parker (Matthew) and grandchildren (Jennifer, Matt Junior and Jacob), siblings, Cheryl (Dick) Cain and Amy Richardson as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law and brother, Steve (Brenda) Woodworth.  Celia loved gardening, driving around Custer State Park checking out the wildlife and was an excellent cook.  She was a hair stylist for many years.  Her fun loving spirit will be greatly missed.
