Brenda J. (Galvin) Vera

 Brenda J. Vera, 66 of Homer formerly of St. Joseph passed away at 12:48 P.M. Wednesday February 11, 2026 at her home.

 A Celebration of Life Service 2:00 P.M. Sunday February 22, 2026 will be held at St. Joseph United Methodist Church 205 S. Third St. St. Joseph. Pastor Jim Davis will officiate.

 Brenda was born August 20, 1959 in Pana, IL the daughter of Lyle and Mavis (Gipson) Galvin. She married Rick Vera in 1987. He survives.

 She is also survived by her children; Melissa (Tyler) Hall of Homer, Kenny Vera of Homer. Seven grandchildren. 2 brothers Rick Galvin, Steve Galvin. Sister Kathy (Terry) Hoover.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sue Galvin.

 Brenda was a constituent of the St. Joseph United Methodist Church.

 She enjoyed crocheting blankets, movies with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. Brenda did a phenomenal job of taking care of people.
