Brenda Joyce (Cornett) Krall

Brenda Joyce Krall, 77, of St. Joseph went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, May

20, 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Brenda was born December 25, 1947, in Murphysboro, IL to Garnett and Florene

(Morgan) Cornett. She married Ralph Anthony Krall on October 21, 1967 in Sparta, IL

and were happily married for 57 years.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband Ralph Krall; sister LaDonna (Tim) Degener;

four sons Rick (Becky) Krall, Bryan (Sarah) Krall, Kyle (Diane) Krall and Bradley

(Brooke) Krall; ten beloved grandchildren Cailyn (Enmanuel) Coronado, Ryne (Allie)

Krall, Andrew Krall, Eleni Krall, Aiden Krall, Elias Krall, Rylee Krall, Alison Krall, Alivia

Krall, Isabella Krall; and a great-granddaughter on the way that was loved before she

could meet her.

Brenda was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother

who adored her family beyond measure. She always had a smile on her face that

beamed with pride from the love she had for her family and friends. Despite the

challenges of raising four rambunctious boys, she instilled a deep love for Jesus in her

family which will be carried on by future generations. Brenda loved scrapbooking,

treasured family memories and making beautiful cards for her family, friends, cards for

hospitalized kids and nursing homes.

Visitation will be at Freese Funeral Home at 302 E Grand, St. Joseph, IL on Saturday,

May 24, 2025 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with a service to immediately follow.
