Beverley Thompsen

Beverley’s life will be honored on Tuesday, December 9th at St John Lutheran Church, 203 Church Street, Royal. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 AM prior to 11:00 AM service officiated by Pastor Richard Lewis. Burial at St John Lutheran Church Cemetery will immediately follow.

Beverley Thompsen passed away peacefully at 4:11 PM on Friday, December 5th, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents; late husband Charles Russell; grandchildren: Raymond Wells III, Janelle Wells, Lyndsey Wienke; and great-granddaughter Murelle Plotner. 

Beverley is survived by her husband of 55 years Herbert Thompsen; sister Patricia Schneman; children: Pamela (Raymond) Wells, Robin (LJ) Wigger, Sandra (Larry) Wienke, Charles Russell II, Randal Thompsen, and Richard Thompsen; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Beverley was born on November 23, 1934 to parents Rosella (Service) and Eugene Bailey. She was a long time resident of Ogden and member of St John Lutheran Church.  Beverley has been keeping Herb in line since they were married August 22, 1970 and he will miss her dearly. 

Memorial contributions can be directed to the Ogden-Royal Fire Department or St John Lutheran Church.
