Betty Lou Foley

Betty Lou Foley, 90, passed away gracefully at home surrounded by her family.  Betty was born July 25, 1934 in Weldon, Illinois, the daughter of Jake and Geneva (Galloway) Followell.

On March 26, 1951, Betty Lou Followell and Louie E. Foley were joined in marriage.  He preceded her in death on June 27, 2015.  Betty is survived by sons, Garyl L. Foley (Doris) and David W. Foley (Deborah), daughter-in-law, Vicki Foley, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Erma Hopper and Frannie Thomas, and many nieces and nephews.

Betty is also preceded in death by a son, Richard Foley, her parents, five brothers, and two sisters.

Betty retired from Champaign Unit #4 Schools.  She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.  She loved spending time with friends and playing cards.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday April 4, 2025 at St. Patrick Cemetery, Tolono with Pastor Robin King officiating.
