Barbara Dalton

Barbara Dalton, 88 of Philo passed away at 2:48AM, Monday, February 21, 2022 at home.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Friday, February 25, 2022 at Freese Funeral Home, Tolono with Rev. James Ellison officiating.  Burial will be at Locust Grove Cemetery, Philo.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30AM, Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dalton was born December 16, 1933 in Urbana, a daughter to Damen and Nellie Johnson Brown.  She married William Dalton on June 14, 1950, he preceded her in death on September 17, 1997.  She is survived by five children; Pam (Richard) Witt of Philo, Sissy (Chuck) Sollers of Philo, Karen (Jay) Warfel of Philo, William D. Dalton of Urbana and Sean (Mary) Dalton, 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

She was dedicated to God and her church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Memorials may be made to St. Nicolas Orthodox Church, Urbana.
