Angela Marie (Hadden) Barre

Angela Marie (Hadden) Barre,55, of Monticello, IL passed away peacefully at Kirby Medical Center, Monticello on November 23, 2024.  Angela was a devoted advocate of essential oils, finding joy and purpose in their many benefits.  Her warmth and kindness touched all who knew her, leaving a lasting impression on her community and loved ones.

Born to Wanda Hadden in Davenport, FL, Angela carried her mother’s nurturing spirit throughout her life.  She shared a loving marriage with her husband, David Barre, in Monticello, IL where they built a life filled with love and family.

Angela was a cherished mother to her daughters, Danielle Barre of Tuscola, IL, Victoria Letchworth and her husband Remer Letchworth of Lakeland, FL, Kay Kresin of Davenport, FL, Stephanie England of Houston, TX and her son Damian of Tolono, IL.  Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Jessica, Oliver, and Owen Letchworth; Justin, Brayden and Adalynn Walling and Scarlett Hill; and many more amazing family members.

She was preceded in death by her father; John Hadden.

Her family and friends will gather on December 5, 2024 from 10:00 to noon for the visitation at Freese Funeral Home, Tolono and funeral to follow.  Burial will be at Craw Cemetery, Sadorus.  Angela’s spirit will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Angela’s memory to a charity of choice, reflecting her generous and caring nature like St. Jude’s Children Hospital of Nemours Children’s Hospital.
